Mr. Falguni Nandi and Smt. Kajal Nandi were inspired to establish the Belarani
Education Trust to set up an institution of excellence for general education. The
foundation stone of Swami Vivekananda Vidyapith was laid on July 2016. The school was

inaugurated on 12 January 2017. Swami Vivekananda Vidyapith is a co-educational
Bengali Medium School at Vivekanandanagar, Deshbandh, Damodarbati, Onda. The
school is now recognised by the W.B.B.S.E up to class X and to be upgraded to the XII
standard under W.B.C.H.S.E. Considering the financial insolvency of villagers of
surrounding zone, we thought about a Bengali Medium School. Low resources generation
may pose difficult situation for an unaided school in rural area, but our trust is ready to
face such challenges to fulfill its charitable objects.
The tastefully architectured building of the school is set on a vast land amidst lush
green environment. It offers the perfect ambience with its highly sophisticated
infrastructure that comprises of airy, well ventilated, spacious and fully furnished
classrooms. The school boasts of a majestic edifice with big auditorium hall used for
multifarious activities.
